Sophomore WR Kaleb Ballard named FCB Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13

WETUMPKA, Ala. - Sophmore wide receiver Kaleb Ballard has been named the First Community Bank Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13. Ballard has been a standout as a wide receiver for the Indians this season, and that remained true in Thursday night's game at Percy Julian, where he tallied 54 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions. The 6'5" reciever leads the Indians with 7 touchdowns on the season thus far. Ballard has been a consistent target for quarterback Charlie Skipper, averaging 46 yards per game and notching at least two grabs in every game this season. The Indians will look to continue their three game win streak on Friday, Oct. 17 against Park Crossing at 7pm at the Cramton Bowl.
